AMGM Guidelines

AMGM Has created the safety guidelines for Mountaineering and Adventure sports activities in Maharashtra. It is recommended to follow all the safety guidelines for respective Adventure Activity performed by any individual, Club or organisation in Maharashtra.

AMGM Guidelines are based on UIAA guidelines and British Mountaineering Council (BMC) Guidelines. These guidelines are for Clubs, Club Office bearers, Programme Leaders and Club Members. Broadly the guidelines have been divided into various sections such as ‘Access and Conservation’, ‘Child Safeguarding’, ‘Role of Youth Officer (Escort)’, ‘Club Equipment’, ‘Risk, Responsibility, Duty of Care and Liability’.

Govt. of Maharashtra has also released the GR of all the guidelines which are applicable in Maharashtra.
