About AMGM
Akhil Maharashtra Giryarohan Mahasangh (AMGM) is an apex organization for mountaineering in the Maharashtra state. It was founded in 1991 with the vision to create a state-level platform for betterment of mountaineering organizations and mountaineers. Currently, AMGM promotes and regulates trekking, mountaineering and adventure sports activities in the state. It also monitors speedy rescue and relief work performed by trained and certified mountaineer-rescuer in hilly and remote region of Maharashtra.
AMGM is registered under The Bombay Public Trust Act with Society Registration No. MAH-BOM-107/91 GBBSD | Public Charitable Trust Reg. No. F- 14892

Awardee of Shri Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Award, Leader of Giripremi's Seven Successful 8000 m high mountains along with largest civilian expedition to Mt. Everest. Umesh is leading the organisation with his vast experience in mountaineering and the capability of taking masses along.
Hrishikesh Yadav
Executive President,
Awardee of Shri Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Award, Leader of first Successful civil expedition to Mt. Everest from Maharashtra. With his nature of meticulous planner, Hrishikesh adds to the operations of AMGM in all fronts.
Rajan Bagwe
Secretary,
Senior mountaineer, with vast experience of trekking and hiking in Sahyadris and Himalayas. With ever smiling and ever positive attitude, Rajan brings all energy in the work of AMGM. He is one of the founding members of AMGNM.
